Sand Monitoring

SMARTCORR® sand monitoring systems can effectively monitor sand particles in the pipe and watch the pipeline erosion indirectly, which provides an important theoretical basis for the improvement of the production process. SMARTCORR® sand monitors analyze the sand particles in the pipe by collecting the sand acoustic which impacts the pipe.

SMARTCORR® offers two types of sand monitors:

1. Portable Sand Monitor: This monitor primarily includes a sensor, a tool kit, and a data display. It is convenient to carry and ideal for short-term sand monitoring.
2. Fixed Sand Monitor: This monitor mainly consists of a sensor and a control unit, making it more suitable for long-term sand monitoring.

The pig detection system is an essential part for customers to perform the pipeline’s operation. SMARTCORR® pig detection system monitors the pig to travel safely through the pipework and feedback the information to operators timely to make a good preparation for subsequent work.
